In 2012 a survey by beauty analysts Mintel clamied that, British women are the glamour queens of Europe, spending more on make-had risen by 40 per cent in the past five years to more than £1bn, overtaking the formerly highest spending women, the French.
The forecasts predict that this trend will continue despite the global recession.
Joan Holleran, Director of Research at Mintel, notes that "many women have a deep emotional tie to their appearance, so cosmetics are a non-negotiable. These women may trade down on other purchases or forgo expensive vacations, but they will still treat themselves to small, feel-good luxuries like make-up and beauty products."
I have trained elsewhere, but I still lack confidence. Can you help?
This is a common question because many of our competitors will train upwards of 8 students per course. This approach we believe devalues the individual learning experience of students therefore missing out on essential learning points.
Debra and the training day were excellent, I fully recommend the course to anyone.
